Obituary for Zelma Howard

Zelma Howard, 83, of Hattiesburg, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be Friday, January 4, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. with services immediately following at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Mrs. Howard was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove and the owner of Howard Christian Children Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Howard and one brother, Edmond Adams.
She is survived by three daughters, Rhonda (Jerry) Cooley of Ellisville, Susan (Myron) Baker of San Diego, CA and Gina (John) Warren of Ellisville; eight grandchildren, Shane Cooley, Heather Taylor, Amanda Sarver, Justin Warren, Tyson Baker, Amber Welch, Janae SchrimpShire and Derohn Baker; 12 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Maxylene Faulkner and Nava Jo Creidman, both of Winter Haven, FL; one brother, Jerome Adams of Nunnelly, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.
