Obituary for Rheubin "Tate" Taylor, Jr.

Rheubin “Tate” Taylor, Jr., 68, of Seminary, passed away on December 23, 2018 at his home. Visitation will be Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Union Baptist Church from 12 P.M. until service at 1:30 P.M., followed by burial in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor served in the United States Marine Corps, where he served two tours during Vietnam. He was member of Union Baptist Church and served as a deacon for 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, he was very active with the Girl Scouts of Covington County, and an active member of V.F.W. Lacy Kelly Post 3036.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rheubin Taylor, Sr.; three sisters; and his grandmother, Bertha Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Fredean Taylor of Seminary; his daughter, Sammie (Kevin) Bullard of Seminary; his granddaughter, Pamela Bullard of Seminary; his mother, Ruby Sullivan of Mendenhall; two sisters, Betty Thompson of Oregon, and Linda (Bert) Martin of Las Vegas, NV.; his sister in law, Charlene Moore of Foster, VA.; and several nieces and nephews.
