Obituary for Michael Lavon Ingram

Michael Lavon Ingram, 47, passed away peacefully in his sleep Monday, August 20, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital. A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Hattiesburg Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
He was born June 11, 1971 to Charles and Mary Ingram. He attended W. H. Jones and Hattiesburg High School. He also attended Camp Civitan several summers and loved making arts and crafts to bring home. The Special Olympics was one of the activities he enjoyed participating in. He won several ribbons and medals which he was very proud of. Michael was a member of William Carey Parkway Church of Christ. Michael never wanted to miss Sunday services or Wednesday night Bible class. His specialties were a great smile a huge hug and loving people. He didn’t consider anyone a stranger. Michael loved singing and music. If you couldn’t find him, all you had to do was to check the outdoors. He would always be on the patio, carport, or the yard, (especially if there wasn’t a black cat or dog around).
Michael is survived by his parents, Charles and Mary l. Ingram of Hattiesburg; two sisters, Deborah (Percy) Ingram Ethridge of Mobile, Pamela Ingram of Hattiesburg; a brother, Gregory B. (Elizabeth) Ingram of Newark, DE; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, L.C. and Hattie Ingram and Nathaniel and Mae Belle Boothe.
