Obituary for Marion Tyson Parker

Mr. Marion Parker, 87, of Wiggins, died November 1, 2017 at Stone County Hospital in Wiggins. Mr. Parker loved his family, God and was loved by all. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Wiggins where he served as deacon and served on various committees. Mr. Parker was a Freemason for 67 years, served as a Scottish Rites and also was a Shriners. He retired after 52 years from Mississippi State Forestry Commission where he served in several associations; Stone-Pearl River Forestry, Fire Tower and was the Chief Fire Investigator for State of Mississippi with the Forestry Commission. He served on the Farm Bureau Board. Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Parker and his parents, William Thomas Parker and Addie (Tyson) Parker.
He is survived by his son, Tommy Parker of Wiggins; his two grandchildren, Ashley Ladnier (Brent) of Wiggins and Tyson Parker (Claire) of Wiggins; one great granddaughter, Brittany Ladnier of Wiggins and a cousin, Elsie Parker of Pensacola, Florida.
Services will be 12 noon, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Moore Funeral Service in Wiggins with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-12 Noon, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Moore Funeral Service in Wiggins.
