Obituary for James Woodrow Showes

James Woodrow Showes, Sr, 59, of Brooklyn passed away on February 7, 2019 at his home. Services will be Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 1:30 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Petal, followed by burial in Bethel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Showes was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He was an avid outdoorsman. He finally won his fight with cancer. He will be missed dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Showes; his mother, Marilyn Lambert; and a brother, William Stewart.
He is survived by his three children, Sabrina Showes (Chris) McClasky of Vancleave, James Woodrow (Kim) Showes, Jr. of Carnes, and Jesse (Beverly) Showes of Richton; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, David Showes and Floyd Showes; four sisters, Nancy Boyte, Patricia Graham, Linda Showes, and Brenda Mayo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Petal.
