Obituary for James Gregory Dickerson

James Gregory Dickerson, 67, of Purvis died Friday, October 26, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital. Visitation will be Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church followed by burial in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Dickerson served in the United States Army and retired as a game warden with the Game and Fish. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Joyce Lynette Dickerson Green; his parents, James and Cecil Dickerson and one brother, Danny McKinley Dickerson. He is survived by three sons, Alan (Missy) Dickerson, Clayton (April) Dickerson and Daniel Dickerson; five grandchildren, Cagle, Annie, McKinley, Blair and Wiley; one brother, Patrick Dickerson and two aunts, Jerry Brewer and Alosia Bourlet.
