Obituary for Gerald W. Jobe

Gerald W. Jobe, 74, of Petal passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Services will be Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Petal, followed by burial in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Jobe was a member of the I.B.E.W. local 903. He loved to fish and build things, and his Atlanta Braves, but loved his family the most.
He was preceded in death by his parents, O.R. and Lena Jobe; two brothers, Joe Jobe and Michael Jobe; and one sister, Lynda McEachern.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Jean Jobe of Petal; two daughters, Sheranda (Craig) Rector of Chattanooga, TN, and LaCresiea (Michael) Olivier of Metairie, LA; one son, Robert (Gina) Sullivan of Petal; nine grandchildren, LaDonna (Nathan) Ralston of Chattanooga, TN, Jerald Chance (Dawn) Herrington of Petal, Caleb (Michelle) Rector of Chattanooga, TN, Nathan (Kaele) Rector of Chattanooga, TN, Rachel Sullivan of Petal, Garrett Sullivan of Laurel, Dylan Olivier, Michaela Olivier, and Dane Olivier of Metairie, LA; six great grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Jobe of Nederland, TX; two sisters, Vada Peterson of Denver, CO, and Lou Ann Fisher, of Seguin, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Petal.
