Obituary for Eddie Errol Gardner, Sr.

Eddie Errol Gardner, Sr., 75, of Purvis, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at his home. Visitation will be Monday, October 1, 2018 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg with services immediately following at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Boone Cemetery.
Mr. Gardner was a member of Central Baptist Church. He loved raising chickens and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Gardner; his mother, Oleen Creel; two brothers, Ron Creel and Larry Creel; and his grandmother, Marilla Gardner.
He is survived by two sons, Phillip J. Gardner (Brenda) and Eddie E. Gardner, Jr., both of Purvis; four grandchildren, Josh Gardner, Meghan Gardner, Drew Gardner, and Tyler Gardner; three great grandchildren, Conner Gras, Cylas Gras, and Jackson Gardner; two sisters, Gayle Fiveash (Will) of Wiggins and Carol Byrd (Buster) of Petal; and one brother, Jerry Creel (Cathy) of Gulfport.
