Obituary for Billy Ray Extine, Sr.

Billy Ray Extine, Sr., 84, of Brooklyn, died May 2, 2018, at his home. Visitation will be Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, from 9:30 a.m. until the service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Glendale Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Extine served in the US Army during World War II. He was retired from the lumber industry. Mr. Extine loved the outdoors, gardening and his dogs. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Extine was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters and one great-granddaughter, Lily Reynolds.
He is survived by his wife, Jennie Vee Extine of Brooklyn; one son, Billy Ray (Kippi) Extine, Jr. of Purvis; four daughters, Jennie Lynn (Michael) Reynolds of Carriere, Aimee (Kevin) Breland, Melanie Extine and Belinda (Kent) Graham, all of Brooklyn; one sister, Margaret (Jimmy) Morris of Hattiesburg; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
