Obituary for Billy H. Lee

Billy H. Lee, 88, of Petal, passed away, Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at his home. Visitation will be Friday, October 12, 2018 at Moore Funeral Home in Petal from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. with services immediately following at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Lee was a member of First Baptist Church of Petal. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He retired from Hess Oil Refinery after 30 years as a Plant Operator. He loved fishing and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Oswalt Lee; one daughter, Debbie Joy Lee; and five brothers.
He is survived by two daughters, Penny Moore (Jimmy) of Wiggins and Billie Jo Newell (Billy Wayne) of Petal; one son, David Lee (Demaris) of Petal; one sister, Shirley Lee of Petal; eight grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Petal Children’s Task Force, 314 S. George St. Petal, MS 39465.
