Obituary for Alfred C. Horn

SMSgt (Ret) Alfred C. Horn, 96, of Collins, formerly of Petal, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at Covington County Hospital. Visitation will be Monday, January 7, 2019 at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg from 1:30 – 3 p.m. with services immediately following at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Roseland Park Cemetery.
Mr. Horn was a member of First Baptist Church of Runnelstown. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1970 after 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Henrietta Cox Horn.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Brown Horn of Collins, formerly of Petal; two daughters, Sandra S. (Leonard) Simmons and Carolyn H. (Charles) Burnett, both of Magee; two grandchildren, Brandi Brown of Florence and C. Grant Simmons of Loxahatchee, FL; one great granddaughter, Devin L. Peacock of Florence; two great-great grandchildren, Aubrey Brown and Kennedy Brown; and a host of step children and step grandchildren.
