Lawrence Charles “Brother” Easterling, 72, died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Roseland Park Cemetery.
Mr. Easterling was affiliated with the Maybank Baptist Church and was married for 27 years. He was formerly a long haul truck driver in the cattle industry, as well as operating his own farm for many years. He had also served in the Mississippi National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, R. S. and Gertrude Green Easterling; one brother, Robert Wilford Easterling; and one grandson, Michael Curry, II.
“Brother Easterling” is survived by his wife, Sarah Easterling of Rawls Springs; one son, Lawrence Easterling, Jr. of Rawls Springs; one daughter, Lisa (Jimmy) Jones of McComb; two step-sons, Fred (Marie) Curry Jr. of Moselle; Michael (Kathleen) Curry of Houston, TX; two step-daughters, Victoria (David) Cashion of Sahaurita, AZ; Jacqueline Curry of Meridian; two sisters, Rachel Loper of Denham Springs, LA; Charlotte Seymore of Rawls Springs; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grand children.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
